Rowlett July 4th Fireworks and Music - 2018

Rowlett celebrates 4th of July with Family Fun, Music & Fireworks!! 

Pecan Grove Park (5300 Main St - behind Wet Zone Waterpark) ... Beginning at 6:00 pm

Celebrate Freedom with live music, children/teen/adult activities and the largest fireworks display in Rowlett! There is no admission charge for entry to this hometown celebration. Vendors will also be on site for festival-style foods and crafts. (ATM will be nearby)

*Live Music with "Memphis Soul" kicking it off at 6:00 p.m. and "The Georgia Satellites" from 8:00-9:30 p.m. 

*Activities will include: Bounce Houses, Face Painting, Outdoor Laser Tag, a Cornhole Tournement and more! The Activities will close at 9:00 p.m. to prepare for Fireworks.

*Fireworks Display will start between 9:30 - 9:45 p.m.

*AND don't forget to bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and bug spray as you enjoy some good old-fashioned family fun celebrating our amazing Country! 

**Parking & Free Shuttles will be available at Rowlett High School, Herfurth Park, Coyle Middle School and the DART station. Shuttles will run from 5-11p**

Pre 4th of July Events for Garland and Sachse - 2017

If so, the City of Garland & the City of Sachse have you covered with their annual events today! Don't forget to bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and bug spray as you enjoy some good old-fashioned family fun celebrating our amazing Country!

The City of Garland & Firewheel Town Center are hosting their annual "Star-Spangled Spectacular" Fireworks at the Park in Firewheel Town Center (245 Cedar Sage Dr, Garland), Monday, July 3rd. Beginning at 4p, there will be Family Fun Activities, Face Painting, Bounce Houses, Entertainment, Food Trucks and more.

*Live Music will be from 7-9p at the main stage by Houlihans
*Fireworks will be synchronized to music at dusk (~9:15p).

The City of Sachse is hosting their annual Red, White & Blue Blast on Monday, July 3rd, at Heritage Park (4408 Hudson Dr., Sachse, TX). There will be Family Fun Activities, Live Entertainment, Food & Craft Vendors, Bounce Houses, Contests,  & Face Painting. 

*Fireworks will be start a bit after dusk (~9:15p).

Rockwall July 4th Fireworks & Music ... Harry Myers Park 

Celebrate an old fashioned Independence Day with live music and fireworks display! Entry is Free!

*Parade from 11-12 and Free Hotdogs from 12-2p
*Live music kicks off at 7:45-9:15pm at Harry Myers Park (near the big pond) and the fireworks will be synchronized to music at dusk (~9:15p).

*The best viewing areas are Harry Myers Park, Dobbs Elementary, Tuttle Athletic Complex, and the RISD Education Center.

*Fireworks Display will start between 9:30 - 9:45 p.m.

The Rockwall Farmers Market has been a summer staple since 2008! It's open every Saturday morning from 8-12p from May 6th to the end of September, at the newly renovated Historic Downtown Rockwall Square (101 Rusk St).

If you haven't been yet, you owe it to yourself to stop by and see what over 30 vendors have to offer. You can find anything from local honey & fresh baked breads (my favs which i picked up!) to fresh produce and meats from

local growers and ranchers! You can also find fresh farm eggs and a plethora of jams as well as other canned/pickled delights! In addition to the various food vendors, you'll also find booths dedicated to hand made items and crafts and get to enjoy entertainment from local musicians! While you're there, be sure to visit the shops on the Square - there's so many unique items!

The Rockwall Farmers Market is pet friendly and often times have pets available for adoption from Rockwall Pets.

Concert by the Lake at the Rockwall Harbor - 2017

One of the greatest things about living in the Lake Ray Hubbard area is the Summer Fun!

Every Thursday night from May through July, people gather on the Rockwall Harbor Amphitheater lawn that over looks Lake Ray Hubbard for the Concerts by the lake, 2074 Summer Lee Drive, Rockwall, TX 75032. 

This Summer Fun is provided by the City of Rockwall and is free of charge to the public!  It’s a family friendly time to spread a blanket, listen to live music, sip a beverage, enjoy eats from nearby restaurants or a packed picnic and enjoy the fresh air and scenic views. People meet new best friends, kids play, random people dance, and every now and then, you might just see a proposal and participate in the general cheering.  Summer memories don’t get any better!
